do i have an identity crisis?
I am a white girl obsessed with india. I am only attracted to indian normally north Indian men punjabis normally and only date them and not white men and only ever seem to befriend indian women aswell and it's not intentional as such it's just I feel more comfortable than mixing with whites all my life and as all my best friends are indian infact. I love bollywood movies and have over 20 saris, salwar kameez, lehanga choli wear only indian jewellery and dream and romanticise of having an indian wedding although i never tell anyone this, when I surround myself with all things indian I feel alive and at peace, I meditiate am very traditional and do yoga and have studied southasian culture in college. I secretly hate being white for some strange reason and my heart skips a beat when i listen to indian songs or watch bollywood movies is this normal? I've been like it since I was about 16 and I am now 30!
No, you like Indian culture and people. Thats normal. In fact that makes you a really interesting and cultured person.
